No-Blow ionization

Compressed air and fan air blows inside the clean environment like a clean room and a clean bench are forbidden. There, a clean environment is based on the principle that particles in the air are filtered through the HEPA filter and collected under the laminar down air flow. Here, if the laminar down air flow is disturbed, the principle becomes no more operative and both the clean room and the clean bench come to lose their existence values. Anti-static measurement inside the clean room and the clean bench should be made under the no-blow condition.

Optimum ions obtained owing to feedback control.

The ion-balance sensor used for the conventional ionizers is strongly influenced by an outside electric field. For instance, when a person or a hand charged with static comes close to an ionizer, it emits a lot of ions of an opposite polarity to the static to cancel out it. That is to say, the ions with the ion-balance unrelated to the object which is about to be ionized are emitted. In order to solve this problem, TRINC developed an electric-field-correction type ion-balance sensor. The feature of this technology is that it keeps always to supply high quality ions of good ion-balance, irrespective of the approach of person or hands to the ionizer and keeps performing a stable and safety ionizing.

N2 sheath

Conventionally to get electrodes (needles) sheathed to prevent them from electric-leaking, there are no other choices than the two, air or N2 blowing into the needle chamber. So, when N2 is to be used, the N2 gas with almost the same volume as air has to be consumed. TRINC system uses those two gases independently to save them from being wasted; Air is blown in just for helping ions flout and a small amount of N2 gas is blown in just for sheathing purpose.

Air blow

An independent air passage from that for the N2 sheath has been provided to make an air flow volume controlled freely. And yet air quality is made unquestioned. An innovative system of the air filter being unrequited which we haven’t seen in the past has come on stage.

Electrical leak-free

An ionizer is a high voltage instrument, so it causes an electric leak if used under damp air. And damp air causes condensation due to adiabatic expansion and induce a leak. TRINC has solved this problem by isolating the high voltage electrical components from compressed air passage.

High Ion-Balance

The ion-balance of the pulse type ionizer varies greatly. Because positive and negative ions are emitted alternately, the object that is to be ionized gains positive ion-balance if the positive ion re aches to it, and gains negative ion-balance if the negative ion reaches. That is to say, the ion-balance too varies alternately. In addition, since the system drift is added, a considerably large variation occurs actually. Although depending on the pulse frequency, it is observed normally the ion-balance from several dozen to several hundred volt. As this will destroy semi-conductors, an ample care have to be taken.
