Surface mount machines (chip mounters) that mount electronic components on printed circuit boards are equipped with ionizers to prevent static electricity. One mounter manufacturer, in response to customer requests, procured equipment from several ionizer manufacturers and installed them in their equipment. The ionizers were installed to prevent static electricity, but the equipment often failed quality inspections because of the noise generated when operating ionizers made by other manufacturers. However, TRINC’s high-performance ionizer (TAS-32 BA) was highly evaluated because it does not generate any noise and does not cause any problems during inspections.

This is a characteristic of ionizers that employ TRINC’s unique ion engine system, which is particularly effective when handling elements that are not resistant to static electricity because there is no electromagnetic noise generation or pulsation of ions.
