In camera lens lamination process, resulting in zero complaints
Example at an global lens manufacturer
At the factory of an global lens manufacturer, foreign matter defects in the camera lens lamination process had become a problem. Despite working in a clean bench, defects due to foreign matter adhering to the laminating process of multiple camera lenses were occurring frequently. Lenses determined to be defective during inspections were disassembled and cleaned before being used again as materials, but this rework was very complicated, and the number of complaints to the design department from on-site workers fed up with the frequent rework was increasing. When they installed the TRINC’s PHASED ARRAY IONIZERs (TAS-821 SFS) inside the clean bench, the number of defects was drastically reduced and the number of complaints from workers on site disappeared. |
In the actual working environment, it is often the case that foreign matter flows into the clean bench, so it is essential to take measures to prevent foreign matter from flowing into the bench. Since there are many similar clean benches in this plant, they plan to systematically expand the use of this system horizontally to other clean benches.
