| In the multilayer coating deposition process at an optical device manufacturing plant, TRINC’s PHASED ARRAY IONIZER (TAS-811 SFS) contributes to the reduction of foreign matter defects. The factory installed the PHASED ARRAY IONIZERs and demonstrated its effectiveness over a six-month period. PHASED ARRAY IONIZERs fills the work area with ions (Space ionizing). All static electricity from products and floating dust in this ionic space is neutralized, preventing foreign matter from adhering to the products. By cleaning the elements in this space and setting them in the deposition kiln, it is possible to prevent foreign matter from adhering to the elements during deposition. |
