Conventional printers are mainly of a laser printer type using a laser, which uses a photosensitive drum to transfer the latent image onto paper, so that deterioration of the print quality due to electrostatic discharge has not been a major problem. Nowadays, as the mainstream of the printer turns into an inkjet printer type, the problem that static on the paper causes the droplet trajectory of the ultra-small ink droplet to go out of order and deteriorates the print quality has come under scrutiny. Therefor the necessity of eliminating the static charged on the paper with high precision has arisen. Since the antistatic brush that has been used conventionally as a countermeasure of this problem cannot eliminate static properly, another problem that residual static deteriorates the print quality has come up. In addition, there has been a problem of papers getting jammed and not aligned to one side due to the adsorption by static. Even with many problems like this, the printers are designed in a space-saving mechanism so tightly as to have no space to put the conventional ionizers into the chassis. This has made it difficult to take countermeasures. This time, to solve these problems, TRINC has developed a "PRINTER TRINC” that is capable to eliminate static in high precision and high-speed manner in spite of the ultra-thin and compact size built in low cost.

Since the ion head is ultra-thin, it can be installed into a small space inside the printer.

The high voltage generating unit is isolated from the ion-bar. Placing the ion bar close to the work pieces which requires to be ionized and having the high voltage generating unit close at operator's hand, AS-306 BA-HT200 can be operated with the ion-bar alone put into the inaccessible place.


Feature 1

Stainless steel made ion bars
The ion bars located close to work pieces for ion emission over them is made of stainless steel. Re-examining materials used for the needle holders and wiring and their structures, the ion bar is made assured of its heat resistance up to 200℃. The air-free ionizing does not require the build-in fan which lacks a heat-resistance, and contributes largely to assuring the heat -resistance as well.

Remotely controlled high voltage generating unit
The high voltage generating unit is isolated from the ion-bar. Placing the ion bar close to the work pieces which requires to be ionized and having the high voltage generating unit close at operator's hand, the system can be operated with the ion-bar alone put into the inaccessible place. The main control unit, commonly used for a bar type ionizer (Bar TRINC) and a phased array ionizer (TRINC PHASED ARRAY IONIZER), has a function synchronizing the polarity of neighboring ionizers with an excellent extensibility.

“Bo-blow ionizing" prevents temperature change.
This is a TRINC's unique system that diffuses ions by means of Coulomb’s repulsion. The ion-diffusion system used in ordinary ionizers emits ions towards work pieces on the air from a build-in fan or a compressor. But this air blow incurs unevenness and cooling down of temperature on the injection molding dies or high-temperature drying furnace to create a new problem. The air-free ionizing makes it possible to eliminate static without worrying about the temperature change.

Conventional bar-type ionizers use air to diffuse ions even inside the clean environment, despite a strict ban placed on the use as a significant source of destroying the clean environment. In addition, when focusing attention on the bar cross-section al shape, they have either a square or oval bar that causes Karman vortexes to occur downstream. They disturb the laminar flow and destroy the clean environment to encourage product failures. TRINC has developed no-blow type STREAMLINED BAR TRINC to solve the problems caused by the air-assisted ionization and the Karman vortex. With this, an ideal antistatic measure without disturbing laminar flow even inside the clean environment can be exercised.

TRINC's discharge needle has a long life. TRINC products have an easy maintenance such as one-touch cleaning and auto-cleaning, but sometimes users tend to forget to clean the needle. When the ionizer has been used for long time, discharge needle has come worn out and effectiveness of static elimination may reduce. The periodical exchange of needle is recommended.



The more flammable a location is, the more likely static is built up.
Once an explosion or a fire occurs, all the measures taken go back to square one. TRINC has developed a new approved explosion-proof ionizer with a further improved explosion-protection performance as compared with the conventional.

Prevention of explosion by static
Under the material processing environment filled with solvent vapor and scattering particles, the spark caused by static would lead directly to an explosion or fire. So the antistatic measures are indispensable for safety and efficient operation. The Approved Explosion-proof TRINC, which has been proved in the various production sites, promises the explosion or fire-free environment as well as safe and high efficiency operation.

Feature 2

Prevention of quality from being damaged by static and dusts
The dusts sticking to work piece largely affect the paint surface finishing quality. However, what is really needed for the painting in the environment including flammable solvents is the anti-static/dust measures with assured explosion-proof. The Approved Explosion-proof TRINC dissipates the static charged on products with powerful ions to prevent the dust-related defects.

Feature 3

One-touch cleaner function
Most static ionizers installed inside equipment have faced a problem that they reduce gradually ion-discharging. This is because they are located out of reach for daily maintenance and the dust piled up on needles prevents ions from being discharged. As a result, static elimination becomes ineffective and product defect rate grows higher. Putting itself in customer’s shoes, TRINC has developed a static ionizer with a manual cleaning system. With a one-touch to turn the grip mounted on the edge of the ion-bar, a dozen of needles are cleaned in a lump. This is a patent TRINC is granted first in the field.

Feature 4

Various sizes available
The ion-bars are available in 3 sizes; 500, 1,000 and 1,500mm. This enables customers to choose the ion-bar to match their purposes for ionizing in a wide space to that in a narrow inside of the equipment.

Feature 5

Discharge needle cleaning notification function
If the discharge needle becomes dirty, the static electricity removal capacity will decrease and it will not be possible to sufficiently remove static electricity. The Explosion-Proof BAR TRINC detects the dirt on the discharge needle and turns on the cleaning LED of the discharge needle. By performing maintenance (cleaning, needle replacement, etc.) of the discharge needle, it can always be used in good condition without causing a decrease in static elimination capacity.

Overhaul notification function
The overhaul LED lights up when 4 years have passed in the actual working time (cumulative). By overhauling, it will return to the original state.
